New FastCap build system

2004-10-05: The old FastCap build system has been removed and replaced with a standard GNU autoconf/automake based build system. Building and installing should now be much simpler and uniform across different systems. A known problem is that the matlab output code has not yet been fixed up to use the new autoconf setup. However this only matters if you are using the matlab output. This remaining issue should be fixed shortly.

Any help in testing on different systems, especially with compilers other than gcc, would be most welcome.

Building and installing should now be much simpler and uniform across different systems. A known problem is that the matlab output code has not yet been fixed up to use the new autoconf setup. However this only matters if you are using the matlab output. This remaining issue should be fixed shortly.

FastLC Project Launched

2004-09-29: The FastLC project has been launched. At this time, a basic web pages has been created as well as the bug tracking database and discussion forum. The latest fastcap and fasthenry sources from M.I.T. have been imported in the the CVS repository. Stay tuned for more news.
